Our family of 6 stayed in the Maetze House over spring break. The house was simple but provided us with adequate accommodations. What it lacked in fancy amenities it more than made up in charm and history.
Claire was a knowledgeable and friendly hostess.
It was wonderful location to get away and experience Texas brush country. We saw lots of cool wildlife like green jays, at least 3 species of hummingbirds, and roadrunners. Our children enjoyed the Mediterranean miniature donkeys, the dogs, and the cat.
